World Book Day 2017
Robert Drake will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March and all children have been invited to come into school dressed as a character from a favourite book. They should bring their book with them so that they can share it with another child. No hair dye of face paints are to be worn under any circumstances.
The competition this year is to 'dress-up' a wooden spoon as a well-known book character. All staff will have 3 votes per spoon and the top 3 will win a prize. All wooden spoons need to be brought into school on either Wednesday 1st or Thursday 2nd March so that judging can take place and prizes can be given out on Monday 6th March 2017.
Details have been circulated to all parents and carers.
