King Charles III Coronation Celebrations - Wednesday 3rd May 2023

As we’re sure you are aware the coronation of our new king, Charles III, is due to take place on Saturday 6 May 2023. We are planning some activites of our own to celebrate this occasion. There will be an afternoon tea party during the afternoon of Wednesday 3 May. There will be cakes and a drink available for the children (shortbread for those children with allergies) and children will also be playing party games to celebrate. On this day children are invited to wear red, white and blue to mark the occasion and we hope that everybody will want to join in the fun. Children who choose not to dress up should wear normal school uniform.

There are two competitions that children can take part in: - to decorate a crown; - to design a party outfit suitable to be worn to the coronation.
