Year 5/6 visit to The Cardfields Centre - Wednesday 13 December 2023

In support of our work in the history and art curriculum, we have arranged a visit to The Cardfields Centre near Hatfield Peverel, where pupils in Years 5 and 6 from will enjoy a range of activities with a Victorian theme, including Christmas wreath making, Christmas parlour games, Christmas card making and carol singing. Our visit will take place on Wednesday 13 December 2023. We intend to leave school at 9.00 am, depart Cardfields at about 2.30 pm, arriving back at school around 3 pm.

The theme for the visit is a Victorian Christmas. To help your child get into the spirit of this event, we would ask that they wear Victorian style clothes. Boys could wear trousers and shirts, caps and waist jackets, and girls could wear pinafore dresses and hats
