Save The Animals

On Friday 18th May pupils at Robert Drake wore green or clothes with animal pictures to support Battersea Cats and Dogs home. Thanks to your generosity we raised £150. If you wish to make a donation you can still do so via ParentPay.

Eco Warriors strive to keep our streets litter free!

On Friday 18th May, Robert Drake Eco Warriors went for a litter picking journey along Church Road up to Manor Trading. We mostly found food wrappers, plastic bottles and cans. We then returned to school and recycled what we could using the recycle bins outside the school gates. Please can you help us keep our local environment clean and safe by placing your rubbish in the bin!

Book Sale

A great big THANK YOU for all the books which have been donated so far. Unfortunately, we were unable to hold the book sale last term due to the inflatables afternoon being cancelled because of the weather. Once the fundraisers have confirmed a new date, the book sale will go ahead on the rescheduled date of the inflatables afternoon. All books will cost £1. If you still have any spare children’s books in good condition please give them to the office or your class teacher All money raised will go towards purchasing new books for the classrooms.

Recycle your clothes -1st July

Our last fund raising event will be held on Wednesday 1st July. The Little Recyclers will be returning to school to collect any clothes which are in good condition, which you no longer wear/need. Clothes can be stored in any plastic bags and bought into school on the morning of the collection date. We raised over £100 in February, so please give generously and start sorting out those wardrobes!
