Year 5/6 Parental Involvement Morning

Year 5 and 6 enjoyed a fantastic Parental Involvement Morning, working alongside their parents on an exciting design and technology challenge. Together, they designed and built prototype cam boxes, exploring how different styles of cams work and how they create movement. Parents and children tested the cams they made, observing how shape and rotation affect motion. It was a lively and hands-on session that encouraged teamwork, problem solving and practical learning. It was wonderful to see parents so actively involved in their children’s learning and certainly tested their resilience!
