World Book Day 2024 – Thursday 7 March 2024 - Competitions

World Book Day is fast approaching and I hope that you have been able to think about an outfit for this special day in the school calendar.

I know that all the staff are excitedly planning and talking about their costumes. The World Book Day tokens have arrived and will be given out on the day, so the children can exchange them either for one of the specially produced World Book Day books or the tokens can be put towards buying another book of their choice.

The competitions this year are:

- to ‘dress-up’ a sock as a well-known book character or use it in a scene;

- to complete a new reading bingo card
