Swimming Gala 2024 - Years 4-6

We are pleased to inform you that the school will be entering the Swimming Gala, which is due to take place in July 2024. The Gala is a competitive swimming event where pupils compete in individual and team races.

Trial sessions, with a qualified swimming coach, will take place at Runnymede Swimming Pool during the school day as follows:

Tuesday 7 May – Year 4 trials

Tuesday 14 May - Year 5 trials

Tuesday 21 May – Year 6 trials

For health and safety, you will need to send the school a certificate which states your child can swimming at least 25 meters. This can either be bought into school or emailed to admin@robertdrake.essex.sch.uk.

We would be grateful if you could please give your consent for your child to take part in the trials, and the training and gala (if selected) by completing the form on ParentPay by Friday 3 May 2024.
