Book Advent Calendar

As part of our Christmas festivities this year, each class will have a Book Advent Calendar, which will promote a love of reading throughout the school.

If possible, we would like each child to bring into class a book from home that they no longer read or want. The books will be wrapped up and given a number. Each day, different children will unwrap books and will then be encouraged to read and review them throughout the advent period. Two books being opened per day will mean that all children will have opened a parcel by 16th December the latest.

The aim of this event is to spread the joy of reading. Thank you for your continued support.
